I went to Namaste India at the Days Inn and had the dinner buffet on 8-14-2013 I was nervous because I was the only one there at 5pm. The food was very good and a nice break from traditional foods and BBQ. I tried everything and was very pleased with the quality of the meal. I will be back and recommend it to foodies. Get the garlic bread with dinner.
This place is the burgh's best kept secret. We have been coming here for over 10 years and I can honestly say, we now drive over 3 hours JUST to eat here, and the owners are such great folks. Ignore the poor reviews. Prices are great, quality and flavor is stellar, and I could go on and on about those two sweeties that make above excellent dishes. Kudos!
Namaste is my favorite Indian buffet in the city. It's always quiet and chill to come here. The staff are all very friendly and try to cater any way they can. The food is delicious, although we usually end up eating a little too much. ...
This place is always clean and never a long wait. I can always count on a hot meal ready to go quickly!
I was hesitant to order, because of all the negative reviews. My go to Indian restaurant is closed on Monday, so I decide to take the risk and order from Namaste India on Grubhub. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews! The food was great. Hot, spicy, flavorful, bigger portion sizes than expected. I will definitely be ordering again. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Vegetable Samosa, Garlic Naan. Everything was delicious.
Was a little nervous about visiting after reading some of the negative reviews but stopped anyway since most of the bad ones are from the Days inn location. I'm so glad I did! It was delicious! Everything was well prepared, service was friendly and prompt. The space is a little spartan but man was the food good!
An impressive experience in Indian-Iranian cuisine, and one I feel I will be coming back to again in the future. A bit of a disclaimer. Things are very mom-and-pop here. If you order online, or through an app, have your order receipt accessible in some way if you go to pick it up. I had my email confirmation, so I was fine. If I didn't, I might have been in a bit of trouble. The most convenient method may be through their Grubhub/UberEats partner of choice. The only other bit of adjustment is the menu. It's Anglicized well, but some googling is required if you're not completely accustomed to the menu. Also if you're looking for what are the most authentic meat choices. Getting around all of that though? The food is excellent, and the portions are huge. I ended up making myself a platter of foods to try. Rogan josh, chicken dopiaza, chana bhatura, and daal makhani. None of which I had tried before, but I came away from absolutely loving all of them. I also had some tandoori from one of them, which I was able to dip in each, and that was a huge gamechanger. I recommend their breads to go with any option. The spice level was impressive. I think the Chana Bhatura came away the spiciest somehow; but it was a tolerable heat. I enjoyed what I had. It also reheated very well, which was awesome. I had enough food to eat for about two days. Fresh meats well cooked, every stew distinct, yet carrying that intrinsic charm. I was pretty blown away. The options here that other places don't cover should invite you to try them out! Make it a regular addition to the stops you make to any of our local Indian-Nepali places.
Good is delicious every time. The spice level can be a bit random I always choose a1. It can be too spicy for me. The bread basket is amazing. I will keep coming back.
